Public Access Wi-Fi and Infrastructure Upgrades for Mayerthorpe

The town of Mayerthorpe, Alberta, was facing challenges making wi-fi connectivity publicly accessible at the local aquatic centre, curling rink, and exhibition centre. In addition, aging servers and old workstations for more than 20 employees at different facilities were becoming unreliable. As soon as TRINUS was able to take over the town’s IT management, we did a complete network and systems assessment and developed a plan to upgrade their infrastructure incrementally over three years, enabling us to complete the upgrade while staying within the town’s limited budget.
