Perhaps it would be arrogant for me to suggest that i2 Analyst's Notebook® is a "standard" for law enforcement and intelligence analyst's in North America, however I believe I can safely label it a "staple". Therefore, if most legal, security and intelligence organizations are acquiring & utilizing this premium analytical tool, why are some still plugging away and creating only "flat linkage charts". If you want to create a pretty picture only, draw a picture with some other graphical software, you have dozens of choices. On the other hand, if you want to understand three dimensional graphical analysis, read the i2 Analyst's Notebook® user's manual.
