Using Two Monitors to Manage your Day |

There is a great article over at Microsoft about how to using two computer monitors at once to increase productivity.
With my Government clients, I see dual monitors mostly in the GIS or publishing departments, however, they could be used for other purposes as well. Below are some examples:
- Any staff member that is using a laptop as their primary computer could use an additional monitor on their desk. Most "corporate-style" notebooks come with a 15" screen. You may want to consider adding a 17" LCD monitor for extra viewing capability.
- Finance departments could use 2 monitors; one for displaying a spreadsheet or financial program, and one for using regular office programs like Word or Outlook (e-mail).
