Microsoft released an update for Windows XP to automatically adjust the computer clock for revised Daylight Saving Time in 2007.  This is an important update since a lot of website applications depend on a client computer clock to process data.  Setting the wrong date or time could be costly to organizations if the issue is not addressed.

To download this update, go to

http://update.microsoft.com

Click the Custom button.

Microsoft will check your computer for installed updates.

1 Click Software, Optional on the left navigation.

2  Select Update for Windows XP (KB928388). If you do not see this option, then your computer is already up to date with the DST patch.

3 Afterwards, click Review and install updates.

Finally, click Install Updates
